I am Yolanda, Drazen’s preschool teacher. Behind this very special boy was a wonderful family, and above all, Hoda. From the very first moment she looked at me and spoke to me, I knew she was an exceptional person—one of those rare people you only come across a few times in life.
I was struck by her great generosity and her willingness to help everyone. She always had a kind word, a gentle, reconciling, and welcoming gesture. She was the glue that brought people together, the bridge and the shelter. She gave importance to every little detail and was always grateful for even the smallest gesture from others.
My life crossed paths with hers, and I can only express deep gratitude for everything she taught me. Always willing to learn in order to continue helping.
She will always be in my heart, and I will try to be a little—just a little—like her.
