Thank you from the heart for thinking of me for this tribute to Hoda.
To me, she was —and still is— much more than a colleague or a friend. I feel that Life brought us together because we shared light, because from the very first moment there was a special kind of magic between us.
We met in a very casual way, when Hoda mentioned a discomfort she had felt at the Sports Club… and from there, everything just flowed. It was as if we spoke the same cosmic language, as if we had known each other before.
From those first encounters came coffees, conversations, shared confidences… Simple moments, yet full of meaning.
Shortly after, she joined Joan Serra’s team, and it was a true gift to be able to share —besides life— a professional project too. Although the Universe decided it would be for a short time, because our work paths separated and her illness arrived… she faced it the way she faced everything: with vitality, with love, with a smile.
Hoda is still part of my everyday life. Her light, her laughter, her gentle yet powerful presence… I still feel that she walks beside me and brings light to many moments of my day.
Thank you, Marcos, for keeping me in your thoughts. I also hold you and Drazen very close in mine. I’m sharing some photos I have with her from a Christmas greeting video we recorded with our Eurofitness colleagues — moments I now treasure even more.
