Offset printing, original art graphics on paper

In printing terms, “offset” refers to an indirect printing process. In this process, the inked image is not transferred directly to the printing medium (such as paper) from the plate, but is transferred first to a rubber roller and then to the final surface.

Formal definition:
Offset printing is a printing process in which the image is indirectly transferred from a metal plate to a rubber roller, and then to the surface to be printed. This process allows for high quality and precision in printing, especially in large-scale print runs.
